Heal the Darkness:
O Lord, heal the darkness of my mind and heart. Let me see my heart just as you do. Don’t let me try to split myself apart, But bring me now to wholeness within you.
Faith – Strength:
In today’s Gospel, Thomas doubted Jesus’ Resurrection. He would only believe if he saw Jesus’ wounds from His Crucifixion. Thomas’ faith was shaken by Jesus’ tragic death. Will our faith be weakened or shaken by our pains and disappointments? We need to Trust God more during trying times. Amen.

At this altar we are offering a pure and bloodless sacrifice for men's salvation. Outside this holy temple the blood of innocent Christians is being shed. God rejects him who does not love his neighbor. I have to tell you this though I die for it.
- Saint Philip of Moscow (1507-1569)
Prompted by the Holy Spirit, the Church must walk the same road which Christ walked: a road of poverty and obedience, of service and self-sacrifice to the death.... For thus did all the apostles walk in hope. On behalf of Christ's Body, which is the Church, they supplied what was wanting in the sufferings of Christ by their own trials and sufferings (see Colossians 1:24)
