A Disciple’s Prayer:
O Lord Jesus Christ, Savior and Redeemer, show me the real way to be your follower. Give me the wisdom and humility to learn from your words and from the church which you left after raising up disciples in your own name.
“Self-Glory” – Faith:
Today’s Gospel challenges us to be Christ-like in every thing we do. Our good thoughts, words and deeds must be done for God’s greater glory. To check our motives, it is good to ask ourselves, “How important are people’s praises to us in whatever we do?”

There are moments in life of special importance such as when the Lord shows us the way to be followed and then leaves it up to our will to respond.
