Gift of Reverence:
O Holy Spirit, give me your gift of reverence that I may always pass through life in a certain silent awe, knowing that you will have passed over the darkness and emptiness of the void and called it to life and that you call me to a more loving life in this world and to eternity in the next.
Signs – Faith:
In today’s Gospel, Jesus reprimanded those who demanded signs before they would accept Him as their Saviour. We may rightly ask God to reveal His Will to us, but to “demand” God to prove Himself by giving us what we want is a grave insult and ingratitude to God. Pray to be more grateful to God.
