Sustained by the Risen Christ:

The risen Christ is the leaven that makes the whole mass of humanity rise and expand in the joy of personal communion. Whenever two human beings break through into a true love and fellowship, it is because they are sustained by the risen Christ.

Proclaim The Good News:

In today’s Gospel Jesus commissions His Disciples to go and proclaim the Gospel to all peoples. Other than witnessing through living the Gospel, we also have to speak and explain it to others. How much interest have we shown in learning about God’s Word?

Just as Paul of Tarsus discovered the true way that leads to salvation and understood that the crucified and risen Christ has led the people of Israel and all humanity to it, so also Christians must realize that the way of salvation comes through their unity in Christ, and that this requires a special spiritual commitment by all.
