Bind Us in Christ:
God of all creation, you fashioned us in love. You bid us to love one another with the same passion with which Jesus poured out your presence in our midst. Bind us always in Christ as one people every tending this world as the garden of your delights. Amen.
Pains of Growth:
In today’s Gospel Jesus reminds us that pains and sacrifices are inevitable if we genuinely want to mature spiritually and deepen our relationship with the Lord. Anything that helps us to be more Christ-like will inevitably also help us to be more authentic ourselves and intimate with God.
