making sure to be there 24/7 and giving everything......including oneself....even when one is facing immense difficulties or even pain....the support never stops..

might not be available or present 24/7 and might not be giving everything....perhaps because prevented by unforseen circumstances....

which one will be chosen? i'm sure the answer is actually pretty obvious....
