Given to Jesus:
It is your vocation, your privilege, your duty, to be wholly given over to Jesus. Then you will emerge in the greatness of the holiness that he has destined for you.…Then you will be unable to forget him, and you will be able to be the only person he has destined you to be.
“Hundred Fold Reward”:
In today’s Gospel, Jesus assures Peter that those who have “left everything” to serve Him will be rewarded “a hundred fold”. Ponder on this “hundred fold” divine reward that the Lord is promising us. How can we be more detached to serve the Lord more fully?
