Meeting Jesus:

When we take refuge in the familiar places and activities of our lives, Christ also seeks us out, prepares a meal for us, and waits to say those words of forgiveness we so desperately need to hear. Knowing that the Lord is waiting for us, we can jump out to meet him.

Prayer - Faith:

In today's Gospel, Jesus asserts that we should never 'babble' when we pray. All our prayers should praise, reverence and thank God. And our lives should support such prayers with sincere services to others, especially to those who are in need, including our families.

God is not only my creator and my master; He is also my last end. A God infinitely wise must have proposed to Himself an end in creating me; a God infinitely perfect could only have created me in His glory; that is to say, to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him.

- Saint Ignatius of Loyola
