Can you identify ways to be a courageous Christian in today’s world? What things hold you back from the love of God? What does the phrase “carry the cross and follow me” mean to you?

In today’s Gospel Jesus urges us to be sincere and faithful in the way we live our Christian faith daily. If our love and faith in the Lord is deep and genuine, we will live it fully and wholeheartedly without attracting attention and glory to ourselves. Is Jesus always the centre of our lives?
