Easter Vigil: ‘Do Not Be Afraid; He Is Risen’
Alleluia! Jesus is risen. God’s love has conquered all, even death. Is there anything, really, that can make us afraid if we truly understand that? Is there anything more important?
Death is Conquered – Faith:
In today’s Gospel, the Father’s Will to offer all peoples the gift of salvation is fulfilled through His Son’s Resurrection. Are we excited by this Truth? Many struggle with death because they have not yet accepted this Truth. How deeply have we accepted this Truth?

What will we do, what will we become, when through the Sacred Wounds of His side we perceive that most adorable and most lovable Heart of our Master, aflame with love for us, that Heart where we will see each of our names written in letters of love! "Is it possible, O my dear Savior," we will say, "that You have loved me so much that You have engraved my name in Your Heart?"
- Saint Francis de Sales
May the risen Lord breathe on our minds and open our eyes that we may know him in the breaking of the bread and follow him in his risen life. Amen.
— Revelations of Divine Mercy:Daily Readings From the Diary of Blessed Faustina Kowalska
Take your time today. Pray and give thanks and adore the risen Christ, alive with His divinity but above all in His humanity, in His Body and Blood in the Eucharist, alive in the eyes of charity in all who suffer. Say it over and over to yourself. Christ is risen. He is truly risen.
