They Did Not Recognize Him:

John the Baptist and Jesus were killed by those who did not recognize who they truly were. Make an effort to see Christ in all you meet today and to be Christ to those who need your help.

Jesus - Radical Truth:

In today’s Gospel Jesus tells us that as Saviour, He is going to suffer and die on the Cross. There is a human tendency to dominate others, but Jesus’ life witnesses to the divine mystery of a“powerlessness” that “conquers all evil through His Death on the Cross."
