Lord, Make Me Real:
Lord, make me real.Create in me the person I was born to be, free of falsehood and self-deception. Show me—gently, if you please—what is counterfeit within my being. Uproot what is not of you so that seeds of faith may be nurtured within me and I may become really, really real. Amen.
Recreation:
Praise you, Lord, for the blessing of free time today for play. I invite you to join us in our sport. May you be the unseen teammate, the referee of each point scored, the coach who directs our efforts. Let my goal be to be the best I can be as I use abilities which are gifts you endow. If I should win, thanks be to you. If I should lose, make me gracious and humble in defeat.
Complacency – Faith:
In Thursday's Gospel, Jesus explains through the parable of the “Wedding Feast,” our tendency of becoming complacent in our faith and taking God for granted. Ponder on your life and ask yourself, “Do I take the Eucharist, the Sacraments of Reconciliation and other divine gifts for granted?
Integrity – Faith:
In today’s Gospel, Jesus praised Nathanael for being a man of “no deception” and that he would see more divine Truths. If our hearts and minds are open and sincere towards God, we will be more enlightened in the way we think and live by God’s Spirit. Deception can only destroy us.

Apart from the cross there is no other ladder by which we may get to heaven.
