Dreaming a New Future:
God dreamt of a new future for humanity and paid the price for it by taking on himself the debt we owed. We can create a new future by dreaming of the Kingdom, by imagining new ways to overcome hatred and violence with the tenderness of love.
“Joys of Faith”:
In today’s Gospel, the bridesmaids were genuinely looking forward to meet their bridegroom. They waited with great joy for his arrival. Are we genuinely interested and “joyful” in wanting to meet the Lord of our lives who is waiting for us in heaven? How are we preparing ourselves to meet Him?
