Giving the Gift of the Son:
God’s posture toward us is always a giving posture; it never changes. We may accept or refuse what he offers, but that doesn’t change God’s desire to bestow on us his Son.
Vigilance – Faith:
In today’s Gospel, Jesus urged His disciples to be vigilant in their faith. This is not easy. It requires a lot of discipline, sacrifice, focus and most of all the deep desire to deepen my relationship with the Lord. Vigilance is putting God at the centre and in all our decisions.

Take good care for the aged, for in them you are caring for Christ Himself.
