Seeing God:

If we have a pure heart, then we can see God. If we cannot see God then we must ask: Is there something between us and our Lord? Sometimes there is a darkness that brings us closer to God, troubles and trials through which we must perservere. But sometimes there is a darkness that is dividing our love for God.

Greed – Faith:

In today’s Gospel, the “tenants” who prospered from the land, turned their honesty into greed, corruption and murder. We are each challenged to recognize our wealth as God’s gift and good opportunities as God’s blessings. Always express our deep gratitude to God.

We must nourish a great love for God and our neighbors; a strong love, an ardent love, a love that burns away imperfections, a love that gently bears an act of impatience, or a bitter word, a love that lets an inadvertence or act of neglect pass without comment, a love that lends itself readily to an act of charity.
