Pentecost People:
We are a Pentecost people. Like the first disciples, we are gifted with the Holy Spirit so that we can share our faith with others. This is not always easy.…Pentecost is the day the disciples were empowered by the Holy Spirit to share their faith with a city of strangers. Why not take the risk this week and share your faith with those closest to you?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the mystery of Pentecost: The Holy Spirit illuminates the human spirit and, by revealing Christ Crucified and Risen, indicates the way to become more like him, that is, to be "the image and instrument of the love which flows from Christ."
- Pope Benedict XVI (June 4, 2006)
