Letting Go:

We cling to so much, Lord—to people and things, attitudes and ideas, habits and desires. Some are good, some not so good. We cling because they seem part of us— guideposts of ourselves. When we look upon your cross and see your outstretched arms, we realize you did not cling to anything except to God. we want to be like you, Lord, clinging to nothing but God.

Jesus – Faith and Love:

In today’s Gospel, Jesus asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?” When Peter answered “Yes”, Jesus replied, “Feed My lambs.” How much do we love Jesus? What are we doing or what have we done to show that we are truly “feeding” the needy and non-believers with Jesus’ Good News?

Our Lord who saved the world through the Cross will only work for the good of souls through the Cross.
