Clear Vision:

Oh, Lord Jesus, help me discover my own inner beauty, so that I may then see more fully the beauty of my Creator.

Spiritual Consolations:

In today’s Gospel Jesus was consoling His disciples who were sad because He would soon be persecuted and be put to death. Jesus assured them that He will always send the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide them to the Truth. Have the Holy Spirit been your strength and guide daily?

The person who possesses Christian meekness is affectionate and tender towards everyone: He is disposed to forgive and excuse the frailties of others; the goodness of his heart appears in a sweet affability that influences his words and actions and presents every object to his view in the most charitable and pleasing light.
