Following Jesus:
We must forgive others, for on no other condition will our own sins be forgiven. There can be and there will be no mercy toward us unless we ourselves are merciful. The real test of the Christian is not how much he loves his friends, but how much he loves his enemies.
Love our Neighbour:
To love others is a spiritual “habit” that Our Lord wants us to have. In order to develop this “habit,” we will have to “fight” against our views and ways that seek selfish “benefits” in relationships. Instead, we should learn to love others because we want to love Christ more.
