To Put on Christ:

O great and loving God,
Let your grace flow into every fiber of my being,
Open my eyes, in all humility and simplicity,
To see my gifts, my talents,
The radiance in me that is a reflection of you.
Permit me to notice the inner and outer beauty
you have given me,
Allow me—To rest in your image,
To become your image,
To soothe my weary mind,
And to put on Christ.

If no poor could be found in the world, men ought to go in search of them, and dig them up from underground to do them good and to be merciful to them.

- Saint Camillus de Lellis (1550-1614)
