Heaven:
If we want to imagine what heaven is like, I think we have to do it in the light of passion: seeing each other in transparency of love. We will be transparent as we share in the divine, infinite vulnerability and mercy of God in the most deeply personal way.

In simplicity of heart I gladly offer everything, O Lord. The Lord put me on this path, he will remember to sustain me in battle. To His mercy I entrust my frailty.
- Blessed Maria Gabriella (1914-1939)
Lord, who with your death and resurrection revealed the love of the Father, we believe in you and with trust we repeat to you today: Jesus, I trust in you, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
- John Paul the Great (Prayer for Divine Mercy Sunday, April 4, 2005; delivered by Archbishop Leonardo Sandri)
