Death & New Life

Our life is a series of mini deaths and new life. God gives us a lifetime of practice tests for what is to come. We pass these tests when we surrender ourselves to God by letting go of the old, dead and dying... and receive the gift of new life that only God can give to us. Through surrendering God is able to shower his Grace upon us. In this grace is contained the new seed that we plant, which in the darkness of the cold dark earth, this seed breaks open and God works his goodness from there.

We see life in a very micro world, where God sees it in micro and macro. We fear these deaths and God gets excited about them. For it is in our deaths (dying to bad self nature) that God does his best work.

This life is just an experience of a foreshadowing of what is to come. A shadow!! Next time you get a chance, study a shadow. Try to touch a shadow. Try to control a shadow with your hand. Who is in control? The person in charge of the light. Who is in charge of the light? God is.
