Wounds of Christ :
The five wounds of Christ belong to all the baptized. We have accepted that our feet be nailed by going only where God directs us, that our hands be fastened by the good we do for our neighbor and that our hearts be pierced with love.
“Sent by Jesus”:
In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that He has “sent” us into the world, and that His Father will “protect us from the Evil One.” We are each challenged to make God’s Truth known courageously. God will protect us and give us the Truth to make Him known. Are we doing this today?
Confession:
Confession heals, confession justifies, confession grants pardon of sin.All hope consists in confession. In confession there is mercy. Believe it firmly. Hope and have confidence in confession.
- St. Isidore of Seville (506-636)
