Friendship and Relationship With Him:
Let’s not lose sight of the fact that Christ’s birth was a personal act of love for each of us. Although we may believe that we are small and insignificant, God’s love raises us to a new significance. He invites us to a profound level of friendship and relationship with him.

The highest degree of meekness consists in seeing, serving, honoring, and treating amiably, on occasion, those who are not to our taste, and who show themselves unfriendly, ungrateful, and troublesome to us.
- Saint Francis de Sales (1567-1622)
