Christian Joy:
Christian joy lies beyond the realm of feelings and emotions. It is a fundamental disposition and stance toward life. It is the knowledge that having prayed and surrendered, God hears the hopes and desires of my heart and will respond in a timely, appropriate way.
Compassion of Jesus:
In today’s Gospel, Jesus “felt sorry” for the sick man and cured him. Each time we are sick and in pain of any kind, Jesus too would “feel sorry” for us and would want to “cure us.” Open your heart, trust in Him more; His Compassion is infinite.
==================================================================
Let us establish a permanent Spring season in our heart through ‘yes’ often repeated to all of God’s permissions and wills.
- St. Francisca Salesia (1844-1914)
