God’s Language:
The Magi were pagans from the mysterious and faraway “east.” Legend says they sought God through the study of the stars. So God spoke to them in the language of their own religion. He sent them a star. He does the same for us. He speaks to us through whatever signs, symbols, events, persons or experiences we are able to receive.
************************************************************************************************
We must pray literally without ceasing, I mean that prayer of the heart which is independent of time and place, which is rather a habit of lifting up the heart to God, as in a constant communication with him.
- St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (1774-1821)
