Time Out:
Time is a gift from God we need to reclaim. Will the world suffer if we miss one sports event, one episode of our favorite soap, one movie, one meeting? Take a break from the national news once. In that hour of silence, listen to the heart. Reflect on creation. Say, “Thank you, God.”
=====================================================================
If only the mind of man might be directed not toward persecutions and religious conflicts but toward a rebirth of Christianity and civilization!
- Pope Paul VI (On the canonization of Saint Charles Lwanga and companions: 22 Martyrs of Uganda)
