God’s Presence:
The more we take time to reflect on our lives, the more we will recognize God’s presence—the new people and pathways, the liturgies and life events that make us aware that “God is shining through everywhere.” With alertness to God’s presence will come growth in God’s spirit of love.
Truth – Persuasion?:
People who are morally blind and intellectually proud will often be cynical and non receptive to the Good News of Salvation. No amount of dialogue would persuade them. Thus, be gentle and non-judgmental towards them. A sincere witness to the Gospel would be more effective than words.

The Lord calls himself the vine and those united to him branches in order to teach us how much we shall benefit from our union with him, and how important it is for us to remain in his love. By receiving the Holy Spirit, who is the bond of union between us and Christ our Saviour, those who are joined to him, as branches are to a vine, share in his own nature.
- St. Cyril of Alexandria (376-444)
