Light of Christ:
Life-giving God, shine the light of Christ into the unredeemed places within me. You know all of my doubts, fears and broken places. You are aware of the ways I resist light and hide in the darkness. Be relentless in pursuing me with the light of Christ.
Doing Good:
Jesus cured a man on the Sabbath. He did not break the Sabbath Laws because He was helping someone in great need. God would not object. Whenever we refrain from helping the needy e.g. a beggar or migrant workers, be very careful that we do not fall into the sin of self-righteousness.
