A Disciple’s Prayer:
O Lord Jesus Christ, Savior and Redeemer, show me the real way to be your follower. Give me the wisdom and humility to learn from your words and from the church which you left after raising up disciples in your own name.
----------------------------------------------------------
True wisdom, then, consists in works, not in great talents, which the world admires; for the wise in the world's estimation ... are the foolish who set at naught the will of God and know not how to control their passions.
- St. Bridget of Sweden (1304-1373)
