Our Lady of Victories:
The victory the church celebrates in the person of Mary is God’s refusal to allow sin to have the last word. Our Lady of Victories celebrates what God planned from the beginning. She is the gateway through which the Lord of glory enters.

Earthly honors count for nothing, and money and wealth count even less and are extremely dangerous, but holiness and the effort to make others holy is the height of human happiness; this is the greatest importance for our life and the life to come.
- Blessed Pope John XXIII (1881-1963)
“Humility means the eagerness to learn, to keep growing, the willingness to receive and be helped by the love and gifts of others.”
