Understand Suffering:

The cross will teach us great things. Don’t be afraid to stand in spirit at the foot of that cross…It is only at the foot of the cross that we begin to understand that suffering is a kiss from the cross of Jesus.

Aimless life:

In today’s Gospel Jesus felt deep compassion for those who were “harassed, dejected and left alone without a shepherd.” The worst way to live our daily life is to rely solely on our human abilities, and to live as though God is irrelevant. Such a way of living leads to an aimless and empty life.
