Catholic Christian Believing:
Catholic Christian believing, sharing the Catholic faith, means voluntarily becoming part of the story of God’s love for the world, becoming part of the story of the life and destiny of God’s Son, Jesus. Our faith provides the only scenario that addresses the deepest dimensions of our lives. If we refuse our part in God’s story, our lives lose their center and degenerate into meaningless.
=====================================================================
The Feast of the Transfiguration takes us in spirit to Mount Tabor together with the Apostles Peter, James and John, to admire in rapture the splendor of the transfigured Lord. In the event of the Transfiguration, we contemplate the mysterious encounter between history, which is being built every day, and the blessed inheritance that awaits us in heaven in full union with Christ, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
- Pope John Paul II the Great (Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord)
