Shaping the Soul:

Each person has a distinctive personality that brings a rich garden of diversity and experience into their families and communities. Belief systems, the culture one lives in and one’s own unique life experiences shape and form the soul.

Faith – mystery:

God’s revelations are full of mysteries. A mystery is a Truth about God that we cannot fully comprehend because we are limited and finite human beings, while God is almighty and infinite. Yet, God’s gift of faith makes it possible for us to accept His Truth wholeheartedly.

O Lord, grant us that love which can never die, which will enkindle our lamps but not extinguish them, so that they may shine in us and bring light to others. Most dear Savior, enkindle our lamps that they may shine forever in your temple. May we receive unquenchable light from you so that our darkness will be illuminated and the darkness of the world will be made less. Amen.
