Faith - Challenges:
If we take our faith seriously, we will be able to face our pains courageously, accept our limitations humbly and persevere willingly. Most importantly, we would do all these out of our love for God. Then, such “pains” will become meaningful challenges.
Fullness in Christ:
It is because the image of God lies deep within each of us that every person can make Christ alive in the world. We have the capacity to bear Christ in our own bodies, to bring Christ to birth, to help move the creation toward its fullness in Christ.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Does our life become from day to day more painful, more oppressive, more replete with sufferings? If life be harder, love makes it also stronger, and only this love, grounded on suffering, can carry the Cross of my Lord, Jesus Christ.
