Repentance:

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reprimanded those who refused to repent. Such attitudes are not uncommon today. What is more fearful is the loss of the sense of “sin” and thus, the clamour for the freedom to do what we want as preferred to our need for repentance and “Confession”.

Bring Us Home:

Bring us home, Father, after the contest of this life. Bring back the lost sheep and summon those who have struggled even haltingly along the way. Open before us the great vista of the Heavenly City so that at the end of our journey we may look up and see its light reflected in the sky ahead.
