Humble reflections

Was surfing the internet when i came across these words said by Our Holy Father....touched me alot and i find them very meaningful in today's context.....it seems that many people in the catholic church today are moving based on relativism....being realistic...secular.....and not listening to God's words.....while those who attempt to follow the church's teachings ...are being laughed at, shunned, censured and etc......

i guess we all need to stop for a moment and reflect...our direction of movement.....for leaders in the church and its children;EVERYONE.....are we compromising the church's teachings/doctrines..for the sake of keeping the people happy, our selfish gains or for our own convenience? have we lost our reverence to God? or do we think we can PLAY God?? or we like the "Supermarket Catholic" that His Grace Archibishop Nicholas Chia mentioned?

God has chosen this humble cardinal as an instrument for his works....many things has been said about him...him being conservative...having a tough stand on the church's teachings and doctrines and etc.....does that ever sound out a clue to anyone that God wants us to wake up from our dreams/sheepish lives? Its time to do some housekeeping and put some order back.....otherwise...many years down the road..i guess...Roman Catholics everywhere won't be respected...but seen as a bunch of fools.....living in sinful ways and Godless.....

or do we have to be punished like the people during Noah's time.....or the children of Israel in the old testament...who behaved in the very same manner that we are doing now...compare and contrast...how we are living today...is very similar to them while they were being let out of Egypt.....they had Moses then to guide them.....today...we have centuries of history....countless inspiring live of saints and martyrs.....GOD's WORD (Sacred Scriptures) and etc....]

Jesus, brotherly king.....may your precious sacrificed body and blood that is poured out for us..keep us and heal us of all divisions....Christe Eleison

O Holy Spirit...comfortor.....be with us.....heal us....guide us...lead us.....discipline us......

Mother Mary....holy virgins of virgins.....pray and intercede for us....keep us close to your son and God the father.......

All Holy saints and martyrs...may your lives and actions..inspire us .....and your shining examples....wake us up from our sleep...

may we pray that we will never be lost.....and come back into the sheepfold of God..who is the supreme Shepherd...He who lives and reigns forever and ever...
